The team from Selling Houses Australia contacted us saying that they had done their research and loved what we do for outdoor spaces! They asked if we would like to partner them on their latest project at Jamboree Heights in Queensland and we couldn’t wait to work with the team! Charlie and Shaynna provided the design brief and an outline of what they loved and what they thought could work in the space and The Furniture Shack team took care of the rest! The result was phenomenal and has received praise from all over Australia! A number of designs were used for the project.
The Barbados armchairs and matching side table were selected to offer a modern, open design for the front patio. The Arctic White wicker and aluminium frame coupled with the Grey Olifen cushions facilitated flow between the indoor living areas through to the outdoor space. Quality is our entry level and this is shown in the fabrics, branded wicker and high density foams offered in this design.
The Noosa 200 x 100cm Dining Table in Arctic White with Polywood with matching Maldives Sling Dining Chairs in Grey Textilene were a clear winner when deciding to lift the main alfresco area. Complimentary Bondi cushions added a pop of colour and UV protection was created through the use of our Cascade Olefin canopy Umbrella with matching base.
The Brief:
Jade and James love sharing a home with their kids and parents... but with six people living in a three bedroom property, something has to give.
Jade and James bought this three-bedroom, two-bathroom high set home two years ago for $530,000, but are desperate to upgrade to something bigger as the property is feeling cramped.
Since Jade’s parents made the move from Perth to be near the grandkids five years ago, they've all been living together in the one dwelling. Throw into the mix a menagerie of animals including multiple chickens and dogs, it's clear to see how cramped this property really is.
The house has been on the market for months, with an asking price of $550,000. It's a reasonable price, but this property failed to get a single bid at auction. It’s neat enough, but it's not in brilliant shape. Can the team get this family an offer?
The Verdict:
A sleek renovation was just what the property needed! Jade and James were about to sell their home for $567,500 and move on to some much-needed space.
