However, The Furniture Shack takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.


3. If The Furniture Shack has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible and any sum debited by The Furniture Shack from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and The Furniture Shack  will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. The Furniture Shack will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered. Please note: we endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can by running special offers, but please remember stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment. The process of updating the website when goods have sold out at promotional price may take a few hours to update. Please note that the price the goods are offered for tender are as displayed in your online basket.


4. The Furniture Shack is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by email. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.

5. Shipping offers and shipping rates are for services covered by our third party carrier. If your area falls out of this area you will be notified within 48 hours of placing your order.

6. We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item: • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it • is unsafe • is significantly different from the sample or description • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed. Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.

7. Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection.  You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or don’t do what they are supposed to do. Our layby facility is a 6 week system to be finalised within the 6 weeks from date of purchase, minimum 20% deposit. Regular weekly repayments must be made. If the layby is cancelled due to it being overdue or a customer fails to pay, management reserves the right to retain 10% of the full purchase price.

8. Any purchases that are made through a commercial and trade account are excluded from our domestic warranties. Commercial and trade warranties will be determine case by case when products are purchased using a commercial and trade account.
